Church buildings are a witness in every community. In Ethiopian culture, a completed building legitimises the church's message in the eyes of the community. Buildings draw people to hear the gospel and serve as a testimony to the power of the gospel as it defeats the dark influcences of witch doctors and religious cults.
The Ethiopian congregations work hard to gather materials and raise the structure that will serve as their place of worship, but the costly corrugated steel sheeting to complete the roof poses a serious financial hardship. Each roof costs about $1,500-$2,000 to complete.
We invite you to partner with us in this opportunity bless our brothers and sisters in Ethiopia by supplying roofing materials. This provision will not only help the church's witness in the community but will also provide much-needed shelter from rainy-season downpours as well as shade from the scorching summer sun.
